Buffalo Sabres Native American Heritage Night
In honor of their Native American Heritage Night, the Buffalo Sabres are collaborating with K Art to promote Native American culture and community. Carson Waterman (Seneca, Snipe Clan) has reimagined the Sabres’ logo to champion the city team and the city’s origin. The 36” x 24” giclee print has been generously signed by the Buffalo Sabres roster and will be auctioned on December 11th, 2021 beginning at 7 pm. All proceeds are tax-deductible and will go to the Native Arts Collective (NACo), an emerging 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization focused on the development of contemporary Native Art and Culture.

Who are the Indigenous Artists to Watch at Art Toronto?
New York Times
“The Seneca author and artist G. Peter Jemison’s excellent works on paper reference the Canandaigua Treaty of 1794, its impact on the Haudenosaunee — the Six Nations of the Iroquois Confederacy — and campaigns by churches and schools to eradicate the culture and language in northeast North America. His use of humble paper bags is what is most exciting about his work.”
